Resolution []

« Hide spoilersThe culprit is Goro Kinoshita. Kouji Hamada was originally one of its crew who killed his comrades to keep the gold to himself and set up an identity as the island's new lighthouse keeper, whose name is apparently Aoki. Kinoshita captured and tortured him for the ship's location, later killing him. He then killed Uehara to prevent him from getting the spoils as well. Conan deduces the gunshot wound he received from Uehara was self-inflicted given how it only scorched skin. and that there was a gunpowder burn (indicating indirect close range fire).

Motive[]

His motive was for the missing billion yen gold on the Shiki Island Ghost Ship.

Trivia[]

  • Insert song: "Kimi ga Ireba" by Iori
  • This is the first two-part Anime Original episode.
